Successful meetings and function catering requires precise forward planning, flexible resources, and experience in preparing menus that satisfy a wide range of dietary and cultural preferences. We provide choices to match the style and pace of the function whether it is a standard morning tea, deluxe sandwich luncheon, formal lunch/dinner or even a cocktail party. ^Top

Ordering times

We require orders by 12.00pm the day prior to your function to ensure we can meet your requirements . ^Top

How we charge labour

Our hours of business are 7.00am to 2.00pm; functions held outside these hours will incur a labour charge. We can provide waiter service for larger functions and are happy to quote in advance for these occasions. Labour rates are charged out as follows:

Catering Attendant
- Monday to Friday: $35.00 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday: $45.00 per hour

Chefs
- Monday to Friday: $40.00 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday: $55.00 per hour

Please note a 3 hour minumum applies to labour hire. If applicable, labour charges will always be quoted in advance. ^Top

How to Order

Cater Care offers Alcoa a web-based online catering order system. Once you submit your order it will be emailed directly to the Alcoa Canteen of your choice. You will also receive a confirmation email confirming your selection & function costing.^Top

Follow these easy steps:

1. Click on FUNCTION CATERING ORDER FORM to go to the online booking page.
2. Complete your administration details including the location of your function.
3. Please do not use the "enter/return" button (for example when you wish to start a new line) while completing your selections as this will submit your request.
4. Complete your menu selection including the quantities and times of menu items required.
5. Please note any special requests in the section provided (for example, no butter on sandwiches).
6. Press "Preview Order". This will allow you to review you request.
7. Once you have viewed the order and happy press "Proceed with order". YOU MUST PRESS "PROCEED WITH ORDER".
8. You will receive confirmation of your order to the email address supplied.
